| High speed strip-fed bag filler with OxEvac system is designed to fill one to five gallon bags used in the wine, juice, beverage and other oxygen-sensitive products. A carton of bags in a strip form enters the rear of the filler and the spouts are directed into and then supported by a set of guiderails. A pusher assembly moves the bag into the separator which then detaches the leading bag from the strip. Individual bags are then advanced into the filling area, where they are uncapped, filled and recapped. Speeds are as follows:
1 gallon bags - 12 to 14 bags/minute
2.5 gallon bags - 10 to 12 bags/minute
5 gallon bags - 7 to 9 bags/minute
The filler is constructed of type 316 stainless steel and includes an Allen-Bradley SLC 5/01 processor. |

| The Mode SP 4055 filler is a metering type machine used to automatically dispense predetermined volumes of liquid products into polyethylene bags. The standard filler is capable of filling one gallon to 25 gallons in 1/2 oz. Increments. Volume of fill is determined by preset numbers on the fact of the electronic counting device.
DESCRIPTION: The filler is constructed of type 304 stainless steel. All product contact areas conform to accepted sanitary design. The metering device is a 3A approved unit and may be cleaned in place. All control switches are located on the lower right hand side of the cabinet and readily accessable by the operator.
PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION: A turbine flow meter is placed in the product line ahead of the fill valve. When the operator lifts the handle and moves it under the filler valve, the valve will open automatically. Product flow thru the turbine flow meter causes an internal rotor to spin. As the rotor spins it's vanes pass through a magnetic field set up by an external sensing device. The interuption of this magnetic field by the vanes of the rotor generates an electrical impule which is sent to the counter. Each vane of the rotor generates this impulse as it passes by the counter. When the count reaches the preset count on the face of the counter, the fill valve is shut off. At this point, the operator will lift the handle and move it to the cap position and pull down to cap. Positon machine where it is to be operated and level. Note: Installation should not be made in an area which will place the sensor or counter in the immediate proximity of an electric motor or other device that may cause electrical sparkng or strong magnetic fields. Connect filler to a 120VAC, 60 Hertz grounded power supply, and an air supply of 60 PSIG. Connect the product line to the turbine flow meter by means of a standard 1 1/2" clamp. Note: Product flow rate must be in the range of 20 GPM Min. to 175GPM Max. |
